Intrigued, I applied and everything just fell into place. At the time, I truly had no idea the impact that this magazine and the Oklahoma community would have on my career. After interning with the magazine for nearly 2 years — writing, designing, photographing — I received a full-time job opportunity back in Austin, Texas, but was still able to continue my work with them freelance writing part-time. I’m a proud Texan through and through, but the people I’ve met and the stories I’ve told with Oklahoma Living magazine, I will never take for granted. Here are some of my favorites.
